Good Morning everyone!! I'm getting worried now a lot of May filers are now getting their interviews schedule and we haven't gotten any update of anything :( still in "fingerprint fee received." Has anyone gotten an letter in the mail and their online status hasn't been updated??

I am not sure how many May filers are getting their interviews scheduled, in April group there are I believe 4 couples who have had theirs scheduled so far. I check other groups from this year regularly and sometimes groups from the last year. Not everybody gets the updates and some people just got their interview invitation in the mail.

What I noticed though was that people who get their interviews fast get the interview letter 2 weeks to 2 months after having done the biometrics. After that one can wait a few more months, a year or in some cases up to 2.5 years so..... so there's fast lane and slow lane!

ROC:  Received Jan 25 2021    NOA 1: February 25 2021 (LIN/Nebraska).    BIOMETRICS: April 30  2021
APPROVED: June 23 2021     CARD DELIVERED:   June 30 2021

AOS:          Received Date:  April 2      NOA 1:  April 5 2018
Biometrics:  April 27  Fingerprint Review Was Completed:  April 30
Case Ready to be scheduled: May 3
( that update only showed up in August! after being notified about EAD&AP )
EAD&AP  We approved your case:  August 8   /  In the mailbox:  August 16 2018
Interview   -    March 14 2019    (
Notice Date:  February 1)  -   Approved!

I wouldn't worry too much. Track other members AOS timelines to see recent interview dates, your office is probably busier than others. I'm counting on an interview in September based on timelines... but I would feel lucky if it really happens within my estimated dates ;) Its still quite new that cases from 2018 are being completed in less than 6 months, so many people are still waiting for a year or more.

Gee if you are worried what about all those from last year with no interview yet. :P I filed end of December last year but I know that I won't have an interview til likely next January at the earliest due to my field office in Denver being so backed up. I do believe you are in a location that is also backed up so be prepared for a long long wait. Once you get EAD waiting isn't so bad. :)

We applied in October of 2017, but because of an uscis error we had to re apply, so the wait has been long...plus I dont want the same thing to happen to us again. We would be happy to receive EAD, that would help BIG TIME! 😁

Well I hope EAD's speed up. lol I got mine approved at 140 days in. :) I haven't a job yet but waiting to see if I got the job I applied for. I know once I can work the wait won't be so bad. Although this wait is a hell of a lot better than the wait for the k-1 visa and not being with my love. :) Getting to be with him everyday is so wonderful.

But see how many they have approved and denied which show how efficient they are in a way ...

i know, my local office only have 2000 pending but they work very slow. Lots of pending cases are not scary, if they work fast

Hi everyone!

Congrats to those who already have an appointment. So happy for you!

I received an RFIE the other day for our I-864. I attached images here stating what they asked for. I am a very meticulous person so I swear that I signed the I-864; none of the pages were missing and that the version I used IS valid. In addition, I have to send a bunch of other things to (again, see image). Just to be clear, this has nothing to do with my income or tax related documents, correct? I am composing a cover letter and this is what I am going to include in this RFIE:

·      Completed form I-864 With signature and date

·      Copy of Request for Initial Evidence

·      2017 tax documents and W2

·      2016 tax documents and W2

·      2015 tax documents and W2

·      Certificate of Employment

·      Copy of passport biographical page (U.S. citizen)

·      Copy of birth certificate (U.S. citizen)

·      Bank statements

Any and all advice is most welcome!

Sorry to hear that but at least you know your case has been processed. Following this forum, I can see thousands of applicants receiving RFE for the documents already submitted. Unfortunately, you have to submit what they request! Please advise when you had your NOA and bio appointment and which state?
