Hello everyone! Did anyone manage to get driving license with SSN only in CA? My i-94 will expire soon, so the only valid document I have is SSN. I tried Glendale DMV a couple of days ago, but they requested either valid i-94 (60 days at least) or EAD. Tomorrow I want to try another office without any appointment. That means that will have to stand on looooong line)). So it would be helpful if anyone could share their experience.

We sent employer letter, and pay stubs since she started in February - I had my biometrics done today in exactly the same building!

Whaaaaaattttt? In Atlanta? What time? We were there at 11

I think you should include some documents that mention the yearly salary - can you get a letter from the employer stating how much she earns for the year? Or a contract stating as much? Did the RFE ask for anything specific?

We was there at ten at Atlanta. We gave employer letter stating how much she earns in a year.

The RFE asks for. Proof of assets as "income didn't meet the requirements" even though it did or a joint sponsor.

We didnt have last years tax return available to us at the time, its past of the RFE so will be sending that off, but it also states we didnt earn enough (which last year we didnt) but this year my wife earns much more than the requirement

Got an RFIE for financial information - my wife meets the 125% + some, but they have asked for proof of assets. confused.

Hey. I remember you. We got the same RFIE even though our co-sponsor makes double of what is required. Haha, how weird we end up in this same boat again. We called USCIS and the tier 2 told us they probably made a mistake. We re-sent everything and more to the response and our case got taken off hold.

Hi everyone. Just started to follow this thread.

I sent my AOS/EAD on May 14th and it was received at Chicago Lockbox on May 17th. First NOA is June 1st. Just received my biometrics appointment for June 25th. Fingers crossed!

I do have a question for - can I buy a ticket for a domestic flight? If so, what name do I use? My passport is under my maiden name, but my legal name is the married one.

Buy the ticket at your maiden name bcs passport is your traveling document for now, unless you have other US government issued ID that is valid for domestic travel. (I would take my AOS noa1 and copy of marriage certificate just in case, not gonna hurt to be careful).

Another Romanian AoSer :D Welcome!

You can fly domestic - you just need to book your tickets under your passport name (which is what they'll use to check against your tickets at the airport). The names just have to match, it doesn't matter if it's not updated to your married name yet.

Had the biometrics appointment in West Palm Beach today. Everything was in time and everybody was really friendly and in a good mood.

Back in the waiting game...

I’m just trying to get myself busy so I stop count and check waiting times eveyday  haha 😆 My status didn’t change after biometrics so hopefully no RFE 🤦🏻‍♀️😉
