No that’s still in portrait mode. I mean it’s a passport data page. If you do it horizontally then the words ( which it seems they are saying the (WORDS)) will not be in horizontal position.

Passport data page is in landscape position so, if they want it in portrait mode, the words won't be displayed horizontally.

NVC Comment: " This document is not in the right-side up position. Please replace this with a scan which displays the words horizontally on the screen."

So the words should be in horizontal, page orientation won't matter.

I Think they just dont want to have to rotate the documents while reviewing. Make sure they can read them right after they open the file.

The instructions say not to count anyone twice.  You are counting your husband twice, once as your spouse and again as the intending immigrant.  Count your husband as the intending immigrant, and put zero for spouse.

Thank You!

Your answer is 2. Just you and your husband. The important part of the instructions is that you can only count each person one time. Even if they fit in multiple categories. Yeah, that stumps everyone it seems.

Thank you!

Thank you very much for the responses @truelove29! Much appreciated!

I hope someone from ISB can answer the timeline question. To restate the question. (NVC Received May 3rd)

"8: I am assuming if everything goes well, a rough timeline of July 10-15 for case number, July 25-30 CC and Interview somewhere between august 20-30 and a passport return around sept 20 or so (Islamabad folks please answer based on your experience for the interview and passport return). Is this reasonable. I am trying to plan to travel for my wife’s interview and then to pick her up as well. So trying to plan time off from work and such."

I don’t know about that. I have to scan my passport in portrait mode in order for the words to be horizontal.

I already filled out my i 864 but i just need to make sure i did  it right...my husband is the Beneficiary and i am the sponsor...however under section 5 when you need to tally up the number of people in your household mine is coming up to 3 , yet it is just the 2 of us (we have no dependents etc)...but i followed all the instructions...count yourself, put one if you are married and add the number of persons (1) you had on the prior page...can anybody clarify if i am doing this right

yes don't count your husband twice the answer suppose to be 2 if you are using a computer its going to count it as 3

It'll probably open either today or Monday (or tomorrow if billing works, but doubt they do on weekend). Looks like most people have had their forms open up on the 4th business day after paying.

It finally opened up today about noon, submitted the both packets, so we will see how long it takes. did you gets get it complete?
