Hi!

Mine said “action required”. Ds-261, ds-260, I-864, etc. I think. I believe our cases are in queue for reviewing. I also think that until I had the action required message, my documents were not assigned to my IV application.

Yup this is what it should say if your case is complete. "At NVC" and then after interview is scheduled it should read "In Transit" or "Ready"

What did it say before? Mine is "at nvc" but I think it has said that the whole time. I am pivot waiting for and we called last night and it isn't approved...

Btw I’m no pivot, mailed everything. How long is your status “at nvc”?

Ohhhhh I wish you guys are right about this, even though we are pretty good at waiting :D . I just hope it won’t take another freaking 3 months!

Haha! The minute you said tiny font At NVC, I realized you were checking at the wrong site. This means your case has been received and in the process of being reviewed or in line to be reviewed. "At NVC" is when the case is complete.

Yeah it is sort of weird to say this when you have already done everything. But this is how it works they update after case complete as "At NVC"

Yeah I don’t really want to get a checklist.. :) But I think I was very organized, my only concern is the i-864. I had 3 of them (wife, joint sponsor, joint sponsor’s spouse). What does your status check say?

Don't worry, depending on your embassy/consulate you should be scheduled for an interview soon! Some schedule end of the month, some beginning of the month and others in the middle. You can call and ask NVC and some are nice enough to answer when your consulate usually schedules.

Oh nice :) usually they update by 5 PM so you should be getting it by next week. When you call NVC ask if your case is being reviewed or if it's line for review.
