I already filled out my i 864 but i just need to make sure i did  it right...my husband is the Beneficiary and i am the sponsor...however under section 5 when you need to tally up the number of people in your household mine is coming up to 3 , yet it is just the 2 of us (we have no dependents etc)...but i followed all the instructions...count yourself, put one if you are married and add the number of persons (1) you had on the prior page...can anybody clarify if i am doing this right

The instructions say not to count anyone twice.  You are counting your husband twice, once as your spouse and again as the intending immigrant.  Count your husband as the intending immigrant, and put zero for spouse.

Your answer is 2. Just you and your husband. The important part of the instructions is that you can only count each person one time. Even if they fit in multiple categories. Yeah, that stumps everyone it seems.

Salut!

Merci encore!

Congratulations, i think it is CC, just call Nvc to confirm

I have a few questions. I have my tax returns for 2015 and 2016. but i haven't gotten my return for 2017 yet. i do have a copy of me submitting the 2017 Tax Transcripts. is that ok?

also when we upload the documents should there be a cover letter? or should we just label each file like " birth certificate of sponsor" " police certificate" , Etc.

JPEG and PDF files are Ok?

Hi!

Thanks again! So I didn’t get to the point to call them today (was going to Monday), but just checked the “visa application status” and after 8 days (including a weekend) they signed for it, the status changed to “At NVC”. It says follow the instructions listed in the welcome letter. We have already done everything was listed, so now just hoping that all i-864 were good, and for the interview rather sooner than later.. :)

Great, so this what it says when you case complete. Congratulations and good luck for interview.

Thank you Mouna!

I hope you’re right!! But it’s only been 6 working days. I have no clue how long it takes for them to review the papers these days, but my guess is that our packet just left their post room and an officer filed it. Yeah, will call them sometime next week, however I don’t think that it makes the process any quicker. And even if it takes a week or two more, I am still happy with it. It’s been 14 months since we mailed the i-130.. :D

Merci Mouna!

J'espère que tu as raison!!

I submitted the 30 april, ( pivot cas) i  got cheklist 10 may, i submitted the documents the same date ,now im still waiting 🙂

Hrrrrm.....where is that status? At the top in tiny text under visa type etc or where the docs usually say submitted? Perhaps I am looking at the wrong spot.

Hi!

Mine said “action required”. Ds-261, ds-260, I-864, etc. I think. I believe our cases are in queue for reviewing. I also think that until I had the action required message, my documents were not assigned to my IV application.
