No, I actually didn’t request anything. I submitted I-130 and I-129f on 1/11 and on 2/20 the I-129f was terminated and 2-22 I-130 was approved and Nvc received it on March 14th.

Why did you submit both? Just curious

Then chalk it up to fantastic luck and thank lucky stars you saved 5 months of agony :)

Yea. Everyone said it takes about 3 to 5 months for USCIS and about 3 months with NVC but USCIS was really fast for me for some reason. I have heard that embassies give interview slots on the 15th of every month and NVC gives the interviews out before the end of the month. I’m hope you guys get it ASAP.

Yes someone also posted they do CC's a lot the last 10 days so that makes sense  ...I am hopeful :0 I hope you get through quickly too! I just mostly laugh how we delayed because we didn't want to interrupt some vacations we had planned and now 16 days is end of world for me hahah ...oh life

Because everyone was saying that it takes 5 months or so for I-130 and I did some research on k3 visa and i found out k3 takes about less than 3 months even though they rarely approve k3 visas. But I did it anyway because it was free lol.

Ikr lol. Just a tip for other people who is in the process of paying fees. You can make that faster if you willing to pay a little extra to your bank.

That's why I didn't submit the K3 either... received a ton of bad advice on this site :| Told DCF not gonna work... I129 not gonna work... AOS not gonna work... list goes on and on... >_>

I know. I read the same thing. But then I said what is the harm of doing it either way I might wait 5 months.

Interesting! That may have got them to look at your file sooner.

Well good for you, if I were to go back in time, I would have done DCF or AOS if that didn't work. Either would have worked now that I know more, I'm sure of it.

Short of the 500K "investor" / gold visa, I would have paid a small fortune to not have my life put on hold for a year.

That’s what I’m thinking. I sent both at the same time. And they send I-129f back to me saying I had to have the Uscis receipt for I-130 once I got that. I sent it back after a week and half or so.

Yes, you actually do not need to translate that as long as it is either in English or the same language as where your interview will be held (spanish) than your good to go!

ah ok thanks!  So only the NVC needs a translation right or neither do they?
