We just submitted our DS-260 and mailed our NVC packet yesterday. I'm anxious. Hoping they approve it, and do so quickly. And, I hope you get a quick CC too!

The good thing is that in April I gathered all documentation and made the copies of them for NVC.  My friend gave me her checklist so I based it off of hers.  Once I get mine I will review it to see if it asks for the same thing.  On April 3rd my spouse also got her police thing done with the translation.  In Mexico they call it carta de antecedentes penales if you have no record.  

Yes, you actually do not need to translate that as long as it is either in English or the same language as where your interview will be held (spanish) than your good to go!

So i just called NVC and the person keep telling me that they receive the mail but he doesn't tell me if they scan it yet or not. I asked if its scanned yet or not and he is "We received the package today". I don't know what that mean? So they haven't put it in the system yet?

I guess not, but @MR-SAUDI said 3-5 days. Lets give em until Monday to sort it out  I do want to check if they have received my packet.

I had also quit my job in April, as it takes 3 months in India to get a release from the job  

Finally, when I got an interview date of 22nd June, everything seems to fall rightly in place

Hello everyone!

I just want to share with you that NVC received my case on March 31st. My case hasn't been processed yet and it's not a Pivot. So far it has been seven weeks!

No, it means they just received it and have not started reviewing it. When they start telling you 'it has been received and is under review from 'xyz' date', that's your SD mine was received on 26th April (Thursday) and SD was 30th April(Monday) . I'm not quite sure if they work on Saturdays nowadays to churn out the backlogs. If not, it was on the 2nd day after receiving that was my SD. Hope all those who have sent the documents get their documents scanned at the earliest and get a quick CC. good luck all!

You are from Hong Kong right? How is it not PIVOT? @aywang had it PIVOT if I'm not wrong

   We are all ready to send document but need a joint sponser which we are unable to find. it soooo much time now and its so frustrating  always thinking about it. I hope we can find here some help.. even if not your guys best wishes may help us find one.
