Don't worry, you'll get your CC within 10 days. They are moving faster now. But I feel sad for the PIVOT cases as it's taking longer for them.

They can not be more than 2MB each...it won't upload to CEAC if they're larger than that.

Do you know a way how we can minimize a PDF from 5 MB to less than 2? and should i upload each document and name it by itself ? for example:

 

Police clearance

birth certificate of petitioner

birth certficate of sponsor

marriage certificate?

etc

 

is the process simple on ceac website.

I just called NVC and they told me that my case is under review from 'xyz' date. That's how you can get your scan date

I had to vent. I know I am not the most patient person on the planet (as my husband rightly acknowledges).

 

Just in case, if anybody is still interested: Research indicates that we need three aspects to be met in order for us to feel happy in life. (1) be part of a group or a good sense of belonging (2) Appreciation - feeling valued, appreciated and acknowledged, and (3) last but not least - having a sense of control over your own life. Hahaha - that went down pretty fast.

 

Okay, off to happier thoughts now.

Hang in there! I am guessing you are a pivot case? Your case complete is probably right around the corner. On the bright side, it is more frustrating to wait for interview being scheduled at the embassy as each embassy follows their own scheduling. There were so many who had case closed by mid month for Mumbai and had to wait until the end of the month to have interview scheduled because Mumbai embassy mostly does end of the month scheduling. I am not sure how Germany consulate works though

I was having the same issue with my documents being too large. The issue was with my printer/scanner. I had to change the setting on my scanner & lower the dpi number...there might have been another setting I modified but I can't remember (and I'm not near that scanner). Basically I played with the settings until the document became smaller when I scanned it. And yes, I labeled each document with what it was & included my husbands name. For example:

 

police certificate_country name_first name last name

 

birth certificate_first name last name

how long did you wait from paying the fees until it showed that the fees are paid and you could move on with the ds260?

For me it took 4 business days for the fees to be processed. Good luck!

Thanks. I think the worst part is to think I could have been done the entire process within 60-90 days with DCF. So bitter ARGH.
