Hi, 

I have just called NVC, lady was very nice and today she asked about my name and beneficiary's name and DOB( never asked before) .Then she asked me how i can help you i replied " still waiting for the case number or visa number", she said give me a moment while i pull up , then she said i apologize i can not pull or see your application. let me put some request to the supervisor that why i am not able to access your application. i said please do so and i will check with you on monday. I am hope full for the next week. NVC recieved on 9th March.(PIVOT CASE). Any thoughts?

Nope. It's common. I had the same. They received and then scanned it the next day. :) Give it a week or 10 days you should have your CC :D

my lawyer just sent me an email saying i need to provide police certificates of all countries i lived for more than 6 months from the age of 14. Checking with NVC that is not what it says...

it's from the age of 16 or above according to NVC

exactly what i’ve seen too.. and it says 12 months, not 6 unless i lived more than 6 months at any age in my life in my country of birth

You'll probably get a case number soon, guessing within 1-2 weeks. Once they start asking for names/DOB, it's a good sign. We're pretty much on the same timeline, NVC received our application March 7.
