Here's what I did as soon as they gave me the Case number:

- Fill out Choice of Agent

- Wait for Welcome letter

- Call NVC and have them go over your Choice of Agent form

- Wait for AOS fee to become available

- Pay AOS fee

- Wait for IV fee to become availabel

- Pay IV fee

- Wait for DS260 to open

- Fill the DS260 and send the package (I sent it 1 day after paying the IV fee)

Just tried to log in to select an agent and received the message "Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

I've seen that before in this forum but I cannot remember what that means. Perhaps wait until tomorrow and then try again? Otherwise you'll need a more knowledgeable VJ member.

My NOA2 has been approved yesterday.

I found out my i-130 has been approved only by logging in on the new website, old website and apps did not change to my new status and obviously i did not receive an email whatsoever

Congratulations on your approved petition. You will be notified on the USCIS app that your case has been sent to the Dept Of State(NVC). One week after you can start calling NVC if they have received your approved petition from USCIS.

Thank you :) hopefully it updates when it has been sent to NVC because the app still shows "received" only

They are two different numbers. The invoice number is kind of like the 'password'. You need both the case number and invoice number to access the CEAC site to fill out the DS-261, pay AOS and IV fees, and fill out the DS-260.

Do we have to fill both ds-261 and ds-260. Which one before. I am waiting for my case number. Thanks
