As right now its up to 30 days to have case complete the most average and for the interview 2 months in advance to give more time to prepare for medical exam. I do know some countries few months waiting for the interview :(

30 days to have case complete from the time you submit ds261? I’ve seen on your timeline that it took 6 weeks before you receive case number from NVC.. 2 months in advance for the interview? Oh man! I hope they’ll process ours a lot faster coz we’ve waited for sooo long at Nebraska service center 😖

patience is a virtue indeed 😅

After they review the documents, it wont be to long for 3 months to have case complete. I apology if I misunderstood. Never mind :D Hope you get yours soon!

Actually, NVC wasted their time on my IV fee payment the technical system got down something went wrong for more than a week before they finally rejected the first one and re billed me a new one, cleared in 2 days then they reviewed my documents. I also waited so long with Hellbraska and sent me a RFE for the judge's signature of the divorce decree. You will be fine :D

We got RFE too.. thank God we’re done with that stage already! I’m asking for estimated time, though I know it’s quite difficult coz it’s case to case basis and due to a lot of factors, but considering everything will work out fine, I hope 3 months is all we have to wait from the time that NVC received our case to its completion 🙏

Our lawyer just told us that for an extra $1800 he could argue that my husband wouldn’t need a waiver for a small Ireland incident that happened 7-8 years ago... then he said but that wouldn’t guarantee that he still wouldn’t need one and it would add an extra two months! Does anyone else here find that crazy?!

Anyways quick question does anyone know at the interview is that where they tell you if you need a waiver? Or during the nvc process?

3/29 rcv date still waiting for case #

Geezuz christ, finally some movement on our pivot case, guess all those irate calls / escalations to supervisor this week worked. Our info is now loaded and today is the first time I was asked for names/DOBs.

Today is 8 weeks and 1 day, expecting the welcome e-mail to just pop up in our email within the next 2 weeks.

Hang in there! Are you a pivot case? Meaning are you required to upload your documents or send through mail? You can find by asking NVC. It shouldn't take 30 days to from the time you pay your online fees for NVC. Once you receive your case number (depending on pivot vs non pivot) that will take anywhere from 7 to 11 weeks, everything else goes much faster.
