Hello,

I am just wondering. We requested to expedite our case and today, we received an email from NVC that they are willing to expedite our case. The problem is we dont have a case number yet. NVC received our case on May 7. So does this mean we are getting a case number soon or we have to wait 8-10 weeks for a case number? Thank you!

Hi, what date did you request your expedite? I requested one on behalf of my stepchild and I haven’t gotten back a response yet.

All,

i just called the NVC to get my case number.  They said that they still don’t have a case number.  This is the eighth week like they had told us to wait.  They said if there is no number by June 4th that the case will enter into supervisor review for another six weeks.

I have to say the immigration system in this country is such a joke.  It shouldn’t take a potential of 14 weeks to generate a case number.  Anyways for anyone that is going through Ciudad Juarez the cases will continue to be non-pivot so we won’t have to worry about being flipped to pivot during our waiting game for the case number which has happened with other embassies.

The CSR also informed me that you have one year from the time they generate the case number and welcome letter to remain in contact with NVC to avoid the case being terminated.

Hello,

We reviewed our DS-261 over the phone on Friday 25 May but we are still waiting for our IV fee to be invoiced?

How long is the wait for the fee to be invoiced on the CEAC site after DS-261 is reviewed over the phone?

Just want to mention that we are exempt from AOS fee so we just waiting for IV on the site.

Thanks

Got the confirmation that my case is pivot. When I asked it last week (or a bit more ago) they didn't know if its going to be a pivot or not, so those who still choose option 2, there might be pivot possibility. For future Estonians: Estonia is a pivot country.

We are today at 8 weeks mark and although pivot case number takes longer, they told me it will be forwarded to supervisor because pivot cases should still fit in the 8 week time frame.

I'm seeing CC's for PIVOT cases taking anywhere from 3-14 days. Why such a big variance? Hard for me to calculate when I should upload documents since i'm trying to land an August interview haha

I am in the same situation... but I have seen it is taking between 2 to 5 weeks to get a CC, so I just sent last Friday. I see it is taking 1,5/2 months from the CC date to get a interview in my consulate, check at yours too. From my calculations, I am now shooting for end July/Beginning of August.

Good Luck for us!! :)

Hello, it was some time last week. When did you request yours? Do you have a case number already?

Hi thanks a lot for your reply! :) Oh in that case I should be fine with PCC from Dubai inshallah. I got my PCC from Dubai in Dec 2017..right now I'm trying to get PCC for Bangladesh asap. Once that's done we'll send our package to NVC for review :)
