My dear VJers, I am now officially a US permanent resident. I got into America last night at 8:45pm Est.  POE Atlanta.  Everything went very smooth from filing at uscis, to nvc, to interview

Stay on them. Call every week. NVC may say that it should be resolved by the end of the week, but they are at the mercy of USCIS. We all know that USCIS is unpredictable.  Thank you for the well wishes.

I am, I ask a congressman for help as well.  This situation is  insane. SO frustrating to deal with, hopefully we will get it fixed soon.

Yay!! :jest:I just called now and got my interview date as well :) My case was complited on April 18th and interview scheduled at July 16 at Dhaka, Bangladesh embasy. I recomend everyone here to call NVC today for your interview date. I still didn't get the eamil, i guess it takes 24 hours to receive the email. Goodluck everyone. I pray for you all... God is great!! :))

I think it'll take 24/48 hours to get the email after you get the schedule.

➺ 02/01/18 IV bill invoiced and paid

➺ 02/07/18  DS-260 completed and submitted

➺ 05/11/18 AOS and IV packages sent (EMS from Indonesia)

➺ 05/16/18 IV and AOS package delivered to NVC

➺ 05/23/18 Got CC at NVC!

➺ 05/31/18  Interview date assigned 

➺ 06/29/18 Medical Check (a week later the RS.Premier Bintaro sent the result to US Embassy)

➺ 07/31/18  interview!-- CEAC showed "Issued" a day later

➺ 08/03/18 Visa in hand

➺ 12/16/18 Point of entry: Houston

I called twice in May and got no info either. They just said "yes, you're on the waiting list." Depends on who answers I guess. Also what they know at the time.

Thank you. Yeah the guy I spoke to told me they'll email everything to me. I'm so excited. I'm in the office and I can't keep calm

Wow you cc was in February. is it because Mexico is a super busy consulate?

Yes, the busiest consulate in the world, it is said. Being a border country is part of it, but with Trump scaring everybody, there has been a big run on people getting legal and that has backed things up way more than they used to be.

o my gosh. I cant even imagine how busy the embassy must be.Hopefully we'll get good news soon.
