It's fine provided you take both forms with you to the interview.

Yes I'm going to the interview with both( The Tax Extension form 4868 and his 1099 form). I only want to be sure if the Extension form will accepted instead the Tax transcript they ask for. I don't want to be too nervous on the interview day bcos of this. That is why I'm asking

Question: can the petitioner join the interview as well? Or its applicant only?

Most consulates don't allow the US Citizen petitioner to attend a consulate interview. All that is required is for the beneficiary to bring with them eveidence of a bonafide relationship.

I am in the same boat. USCIS says sent it in February, NVC says they never received it. Called USCIS twice, we are waiting on our 3rd service request, and case has been  with a supervisor at NVC  for over 4 weeks now. I am at a loss ...

Wow... so did you ask for a supervisor at NVC? They told us to email our approval letter to asknvc@state.gov. I’m assuming that’s the service email.

I know, right?! And I'm wondering if the long Memorial Day weekend with Monday 28th off work will affect the notifications. Maybe won't start til 29th? I'm so nervous. CC Feb 26 according to NVC, but didn't receive email til March 5. Hoping for an appointment this time around.

I think you should be getting one this time, can believe you have been waiting 3 months! It is ridiculous!

Hopefully I can get a date soon. It's already one year since I started with the applications. If the operator from NVC would give me an approximate date I would be at ease but all I get is no timelines for appointments in consulates.😐

Yea that is pretty much how it is and unfortunately we can not do anything about but just wait, which sucks when you see all the other consulate schedule within days or weeks of CC and having interview within a couple months. :(

For those waiting for interview in Juarez: I just called NVC and spoke to a really nice rep who told me that Juarez has not given them dates yet for the next round of interviews, that CDJ usually let them know around the end of the month (they are one of the last ones to give them dates go figure ) so she said most likely they will get those dates either end of this week or at the beginning of next week (after memorial day), so those waiting with CC from Feb/March look out for those emails soon or you may also give them a call end of this week or next week.

Yes they sent it to a supervisor once I told them my waiver was approved and sent to NVC on 2/16/2018. It's been two months since my documents were sent to NVC. I have mailed them a copy, they have it,  but they want it directly from USCIS,  so won't close the case. I don't know what else to do.  Emailed the ombudsmen, 3 USCIS requests, called NVC every week. Lawyer says to wait until the 6 weeks are up then go to the congressman if not resolved.
