My interview was originally scheduled on 12 June. I just got an email from the embassy to say they have rescheduled it to 20 June because they will be closed for an internal event. No prizes for guessing that it is the day President Trump will be in town to meet Kim Jong Un. I should feel honoured...

I think it is good for a year from the issue date. But let people who knows it better pitch in :)

It's not neccessary,the one you got will expire on Feb 2019.Unless you have more money to spend. ...Good luck

No, you didn't submit anything wrong. That status will change to "At NVC" once your case is complete. If they need any other document(s), they will send you a request email which is also known as "Checklist".
