How long did it take for status to be changed?  Mine still says 'In Transit', and the interview letter was received on May 10th.  If electronic files take days to transit, their system really needs some help.

Checklist will not delay your interview date.  I got a check list too after My case was completed for w2s and the checklist says I should take it with me to the interview. About a week after I got the checklist, I got an email for interview scheduled.  The consulate officer never even asked for the w2s during the interview that only lasted for about two minutes. So you shouldn't worry about the checklist.

Interview date confirmed May 9 

Interview scheduled for June 11 

We haven’t received the email yet though, how long does it take? Will our interview be delayed if the email comes on the 14 or 15 of May?

We are a pivot case and we submitted our documents on May 8th. The ceac site shows "Fees: Paid", AOS /DS 260 Complete / Documents. Submitted or something along the lines of that.

 

How do we know when this status changes to a cc? What information would be see on the site?

When you go check our status it will say  at NVC

If your interview is already scheduled and you confirmed it with the NVC, it should not be delayed regardless of when the email comes. Your should get the email within a week if not sooner.

When you check your status on CEAC, it’ll say “At NVC” and the main page where next to the documents it says “submitted” that will change to “approved.”  We also got a message on CEAC that we are now documentarily qualified. We received an email on the same day.

So my husbands appointment in Juarez is on the 22 and he was suppose to leave from here (California) on the 19. We sent to Morelia, Michoacán the papers that were needed so a family member could get the police report for him instead of going himself, we send it through FedEx and long story short it still hasn't gotten to it's destination so now my husband has to go all the way to Michoacán to do everything himself thanks to FedEx! Now he's leaving this Monday. Everything is happening so quick and we're both stressing out pretty bad, I know there's others with the appointment coming up also I'm just going to keep praying everything ends well for all of us.

My status changed to "at NVC" - so I thought case complete - but then I got a letter that our file was not complete and said to bring a W-2 to the interview, but I already submitted the w-2!  I guess they misplaced it. Does anyone know if this will delay our interview?

No it doesn't. Just take the w-2 to the interview as they requested.

I got that same letter! Lol, and no it will not delay the interview i had that same question and i called NVC and they advised me that no, that my case is complete and just bring that W2 to the interview
