My paper doesn’t have that as well. I felt it’s after payment of $220 then it will be generated. I might be wrong tho. Someone should help us

I just saw the A-Number on the white paper printed on the envelope given to us at the dhl office. But for the DOS number is what I’m not sure about.

Hello dear all,

We just got the email today of being case completed and we are in line for interview. I checked the Ceac website and it still says AT NVC. How long does the Nvc take to schedule an interview?

Depends how busy the embassy you’re going to for interview is. Generally interviews are scheduled last/first week each month. So depending on which embassy you might hear something end of this month. Always a possibility of a cancellation and you get an earlier slot. There’s no exact science to it 😜

Thank you for your response Kentman. I hope to hear back from the embassy soon. This process has been way too long. Can’t wait to have my husband here with me.

Please kindly let me know if you could open this spreadsheet you could see from case complete to the interview date. Hope this helps to see your embassy consulate to compare the length of time.

It will be an email from NVC for notification of the interview. I’m in the same boat, CC 30 April, now just constantly checking my email! Had enough of the waiting!

I got it April 17.

It was for proof of a job offer for my wife who is an American citizen but has been living outside the US since 2004. Initially she was not allowed work in Ireland and after we got married she was then permitted to work. Unfortunately she got sick and was diagnosed with cervical cancer, after surgery and radiation treatment she suffered with a lot of side effects. She finally got the all clear late last year but because we were planning to move to the US we figured there was no need for her to work. The interviewing officer focused on her not working rather than my joint sponsors (her parents).

I had a disagreement with him because he insisted the I-864 was not a contract because they never chase anyone for money.

It all could have been avoided because I have a small pension worth around 23k that comes with me and I never included it in my application, I figured the joint sponsors had it more than covered. On the day when the officer asked me about it I got the amount wrong when trying to convert euro to dollars. I think I said 13k so he also asked for proof that the pension would continue.

I created a thread here on the forum and forum member Boiler pointed out that maybe the amount might be enough to satisfy them. Turns out he was right, I emailed the embassy and told them the correct amount and that I had proof. They said send in proof and my passport, there was also a delay because the hospital never put an expiry date on my medical.
