OMG! Even after getting CC they send out mails like this? :(
My status shows 'At NVC'. So, still there is a chance that I might get mails like these? :o

Don't worry, everything will be alright for you. Hope for the best! :)

Yes, they do. Which is probably a good thing. We received a checklist after a CC that states my wife needs to bring with her to the interview.

There is no standard for when you will get the appointment letter. It all depends on when NVC schedules interviews, and that is dependent on when the consulate releases their available dates. The USCIS service centre is irrelevant now. It is true, however, that NVC is working faster on case complete. But interview date can take longer if the consulates are busy. If they aren't busy, your estimate is pretty good.

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General tells NVC what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments in a first-in, first-out manner.  Most appointments are set within 60 days of NVC receipt of all requested documentation.

And as you said , it does actually depends on how busy is the consulate.

Hello All,

Please is there any one in the house who has paid his/her $220 immigrant fee? I'm a bit confused regarding my A Number and DOS number, the paper I was given after my interview didn't have this information. Is there any other means of generating it or do I have to go back to the embassy?
