Hello guys ! I would need some help .

Since I am was waiting for a CC and I decide to give them a call , and the guy told me that I everything is good but they will send me a check list for a police certificate in my native ( Serbian) language . That is so weird to me , because I never knew it they need it in my native language since there said only to be translated in language .

But never mind . I asked him if I can send it before I got check list . He said yes . If you have a bar code . Could I printed out new bar code sheet from my welcCome letter ?

thank you very much !

Yes as previous mail you sent similar to it - shouldn't be problem however re confirm with NVC

However you should confirm with one more agent sometimes they don't give you checklist and ask you to get that document at interview directly

So re confirm would be better

Thank you for your quick respond . He told me when I called that I will be getting a check list only for that next day or 2 but maybe I could ask agent if I could bring that document as you told me , directly at the interview , instead of sending to them ? Of course if that’s ok with them

Hello everyone, my friends!!

My wife received her passport returned in 2 days and yesterday my wife and I entered the US, everything went wonderful, the immigration officer took the envelope and asked us some questions (which I don't remember anymore) lol took a picture to my wife and her fingerprints of the right hand, and just he said, Welcome to the USA!!

It's great to know that all this is over, that I can live quietly knowing that I have my wife by my side and that this whole process tackled with so many feelings is just a memory!
Thanks to all those who helped in my experience, my best wishes to you and may God bless you greatly!!

I'm so happy!!!:luv::dance:

For people going to cdj, my husband lives here in the U.S. but he needs a carta de antecedentes no penales from Morelia, since he is from Michoacán. I have heard that he can get it from the police department in ciudad Juárez, I've seen videos on YouTube about people talking about it too but I'm just not sure. Has anyone from a different state got that paper in ciudad Juárez? His interview date is May 22 btw

Hi,

Check out the consulate reviews for Mexico on this site. It is a guy there who recently had his interview and he also received the police certificate while in Juarez. He said its about 90 pesos (and they only take pesos). He went to the "fascilica" (hope I'm spelling that correctly), and they gave it to him the same day while he waited.  A birth certificate and a document with a local address is needed (hotel receipt worked) for the person who wrote the review.

Hope this helps!

Awesome! Congrats. There is a lot of good news coming from Juarez.

Can you please tell us about your experience there and what questions they asked you during the interview. I know a lot of us are getting ready for interviews in May/June and your insight would be greatly appreciated. :)   Also, did you have to do any documents reviews, meaning, go to the consulate the day before your interview for them to review your documents?

Thanks in advance and Congrats again!!! <3

Hello all,

I just wanted to write. My wife had her interview on April 18th in Paris France, the interview went very well and she was approved. two days later on April 20th CEAC changed to issued. Mind you that in Paris you cannot go pick up your packet after the interview, it has to be mailed to the applicant's address. We waited for a few days and my wife never received her passport, so we started freaking out, and on the consulate's customer service website it says that if it has been 5 business days since the visa was issued and the packet has not been handed to the courier services please contact us.

So on April 26th we sent email to them asking them about the situation. This is what they reply "The time it takes to adjudicate an applicant's case is at the sole discretion of the consular section we cannot provide any information when your personal document will be turned over to courier. Please note: An issued notification on the CEAC Status website does not indicate that the visa has been printed nor that the document has been turned over to the courier. It indicates only that the adjudication is complete and that final processing has begun. It may take several business days after the issued status for the passport to be turned over to the courier."

I feel like there are so many contradictions in the email. Anyways, yesterday, on April 30th, "last update" on CEAC changed from April 20th to April 30th. I just hope that means that they finally released the passport to the courier. However there is no way to know today because it is May 1st and its labor day in France.

This whole two weeks has been frustrating, I can see most people in this thread receiving their passport back within two days after interview. I would understand if my wife's application was under administrative processing, that can take weeks or months. But status has been on "Issued" for a week and half and yet nothing. I don't know what is taking them this long.

Anyways I hope no one goes through this, and I know we are towards the end, God bless, hope its only a matter of 1-2 days now. sorry for such a long message.

The only ones that I have seen actually approved have had an imminent medical need but it doesn’t hurt to try.

Have you been calling the NVC? Did they say anything else? Received open slots from the embassy yet?

i made most of my process from Mexico city, the fingerprints and medical , the cost was 340 usd because i already had the TDAP from IMSS  (the vaccines they give you are TDAP MMR and Varicella)

I came in to the consulate in CDJ at 9 am they ask for your passport , interview sheet (p4) and the DS-260 , then you go through a metal detector before you can go through to the interview rooms (here they will give you a number).

When you go inside they send you to a room where they ask for the following:

Birth cert

Carta de no antecedentes penales

Marriage / divorce certificate

medical envelope (its a black one)

and the passport pics (make sure they are the right size i saw someone getting kicked back for not having the 2inx2in pics)

they review your documents, ask you who is the petitioner and the relationship to you  and to confirm the address they will be sending your documents to, if everything is ok they put a green mark in the number they gave u at the metal detector and you can move forward to the green chairs

Then i waited for about 2 hrs till they call me to the window and asked me:

Who is the petitioner

How many times have you been in the USA

Have u always come in using a tourist visa

What does the petitioner do for a living

Congratulations you have been approved!!

i took about 5 minutes in the interview (after waiting like 4 hours so be very patient) and i left the consulate at 1 pm

Good luck in your journey!!!!
