8 Weeks Wait Time at NVC

Just called the NVC for my case number and was told the processing time to receive one is currently 8 weeks. The timeline says 10 days! Is this on average with what people have experienced? We received our NOA2 on April 3 and my file only arrived at the NVC today. Just curious to see if it happens a lot faster than their prediction.

Its upto ten weeks for pivot  case. Normal case can take 6 to 8 weeks.

If your case arrived at NVC today, try calling tomorrow or Wednesday.  Our case arrived at NVC on a Wednesday and we had our case number the next day.  Don’t be afraid to call multiple times a day either.  Lol  It was on my third call of the day that I finally got my case number!  :D

Medical at Knightsbridge: 05/03/2018 (Originally 5/12 but got sooner date due to a cancellation)
Interview: 05/22/2018  APPROVED!!
Visa in hand: 05/31/2018
Fiance's POE : 06/11/2018  He’s HOME!!  :wub:

That’s the script yes cause it can take “up to”

 

which ive been told everyday for 3 weeks that it may take 6, then it was case received...then I’ve been told 8 weeks... next morning case number assigned...

 

there are lots of “up to” times in this process it doesn’t mean that’s the average.

I waited 79 days. It is always, hurry up and wait. They don't seem to get that they are playing with people's lives.

I just got my case number- i waited 11 weeks from the day the USCIS website said my case had been delivered. I called three days ago. the customer service rep said shed see if she could push my case along. Either she did that or i was on the brink of being processed. My question is how long have people waited to get their appointment at the consulate?

The Lord is our strength. It's really been a tough journey but by God's grace,it will surely end in praise.
