Hey everyone!

so my husband got his green card this last December! Woot Woot! But we were wondering if it matters that his work permit card is about to expire? I’m guessing it doesn’t since he is here legally with his green card. But wanted to double check. Thanks for your responses!

Like above. His green card is his work authority. If he is working currently he just needs ot update his employer with his actual green card. He can also go to the social security office and get an update card that will have the "Needs DHS authorization" removed from it.

As long as your husband has his green card then you don't need to worry about a work permit at all.
