After NOA2, case with NVC - what next?

I received my NOA2 dated April 3rd, now I have an NVC number  and the case is marked as "with NVC" on their tracker. I am not sure if there's anything I should be doing at the moment, is it possible for my beneficiary to go and get a head start on the health check and police clearance? What should we be doing now? Waited so long for the NOA2, now it's finally here and we're uncertain exactly what to do next.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Your beneficiary should apply for police check record ASAP cuz it always take time. Did you sent him/her signed affidavit of support? Your beneficiary should start figuring out the medical exam etc. In some countries you can do it before your case arrives in consulate based on NVC number only. Also your beneficiary will have to fill DS-160 to be able to schedule an interview.

There is a flowchart that might be helpful http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow

It maybe a silly question but I just can’t find this NVC case status tracker...

my case is at NVC right now, but I don’t have the NVC case number yet. Once I get it, how can I check my case status? Only by telephone or email? Is there an online system to check it? Thx in advance
