This may be old, but I recently discovered it and i know many others have yet to find out about it.  We filed my wife’s AOS (from K1) early May 2017.  At the original status check website:

https://egov.uscis.gov

it still says “Fingerprint Fee Received”, since May 9 last year.

then I found out about this website, from another visajourney member’s post:

https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant

i made a new account here and I wanted to share the diffence with you all - I hope this helps some folks - it says this, since June 15 last year - still waiting on an update though:

Case status

June 15, 2017

Yeah it’s been completely strange for me.  Egov said Fingerprint Fee Accepted since May 9 last year until a couple days ago it finally updated to an incorrect status:  Employment Based Interview Scheduled.   We are family based (K1 to AOS).  I found out it’s a common error, and the letter in he mail will be correct (it was)

On the other hand, the myuscis one was updated in June last year on the 15th stating that the interview was ready to be scheduled.  It never updated from that status when the egov one finally did.

So here’s how I got my updates, again:

egov - Fingerprint Fee Received - may 9, 17

my - interview ready for sched - June 15,17

egov - interview scheduled - April 30, 18

just got letter in the mail yesterday for interview schedule date for early June, will update my timeline tomorrow for everyone

I’m not sure, it never said it left NBC because of the lack of status updates.  After getting the interview letter in the mail though it says our interview is here in New York City
