Visting fiance in the US after NOA2 for K-1

Hello All, I posted this question on another specific forum but did not get any feedback. My question: has any Canadian visited their fiance in the US  by air after receiving their NOA2 for the K1 visa but before their medical/interview? If so, were you asked additional questions? Were you denied entry? I know the decision is ultimately to the CBP officer that day you cross but wanted to hear what others have experienced in relation to entering post NOA2 for the K1 visa for Canadian fiances
