Your CC For June 29th just means that's when your case is completed and are probably now in line for your interview. Interviews are taking an average of 3-4.5 months and then 1 month following that for the actual interview. They give you an interview date  a month in advance from your actual interview date.

They probably won't start assigning any dates until next week. Since your CC was June 29th you probably won't receive a cita date until October/November for an interview in December. If you are lucky  you might get one for November :)

I see that you guys were CC on 4/19.  You guys haven't heard anything yet for your case?

Does anyone have an idea of the appointment wait time in CJD for a IR-1 spouse visa? They received our packet Jan 29 and I received an email March 5 that paperwork was all complete and he is in line for an appointment slot. Nothing since them.  It’s a straight up spouse visa, no waiver or complications in the case. It’s been a long haul, married 10 years, I lived in Mexico 8 of those. Had to come back to work in the US two years ago for financial affidavit purposes.  Then we had a 9 month delay getting Mexico to give us the the police report cleared of something that was incorrect. At least as a teacher I can go down to spend 7 weeks with him in late June, so we’re lucky I guess.  Keep hoping every day....

@J Laredo have you gotten your appointment letter yet??

Our cc was Feb 26, appointment set by phone May 31, appointment was July 16! Waiting for the appointment was like watching grass grow. Good luck and enjoy your time in Juarez. It’s an experience for sure. And relax, the interview and approval are not really a big deal like we all think as long as you’ve got your stuff. If there are no problems, then you’ve got it by the tail!

Case Complete: April 19th

Got Call to Schedule Interview: August 7th

Same, Financial reasons and also having creepy ex boyfriend stalking issues. I filed an order of protection against him but he still knows where I live and I havn't been able to move out due to breaking my lease being $2000 as well as I would need a deposit to move to a different apartment. I sent it pictures of my debt to income ratio ( student loans ugh) as well as emotional stress from the agressive creepy ex boyfriend from like 2 plus years ago.🙃  The first email I sent without documents got denied and the second one I sent right after with photos attached got approved. It Takes about 3-4 days for them to get it and call you back to book an appointment. I sent my email August 2nd.

The good news is that the person I spoke with on the phone said that there are dates available all through August with the exception off the 22nd and he just asked me to choose a date. So if the expedite gets approved you should be able to get a cita date within a couple weeks of your approval :)

Oh wow that’s amazing! So if they have so many appointments available, where are all the cita letters?? Lol. I would try to expedite it (stress of waiting haha) but it’s already been over 90 days so hopefully we should get it soon regardless. Fingers crossed!!

Well I hope you get an interview soon!!!:) And these Appointments for August they would have given out dates for in June. So I am assuming the open appointment times are for cancelled appointments or appointments allotted specifically for expedited cases. I know right now the average wait time for an interview date is about 6 months from CC to Interview date.

The wait is killing me so anytime I can save, if I can save it, I want to save and move on from this immigration nightmare.
