Could anyone tell me if they have gotten their appointments and how long it took from CC please? I just got my CC and would like to estimate how long we have yet to go.

Hi Dalia,

When did you receive your CC email? We received my husbands on 08/19/19.

I first submitted the I130 for my husband 10/2017. It was approved 04/2018. However, we also had to submit a I601a which they received on 10/18 and was approved 04/18.. I cannot believe it has been over 2 years since we started the process!!! Our lawyer also took longer than he should have sending in our packets. I am becoming so impatient! I have now heard from several people the wait time is 8-11 months. Geeesh.

11-12 months for appointment letter is what I’m hearing. I got my CC email on August 21st 2019 so my wait has just begun. I130 priority date was 06/26/17 was approved on 01/19/18. Also did a i601a received date 08/10/18 and was approved on 06/26/19 exactly 2 years after receiving my i130. I had my Biometric appointment on September 10th 2018. It took a while for USCIS to send my approval notice to NVC but as soon as they did my case was declared complete. It has barely been a little over 3 months of my wait...about 8 and a half more to go as of now.

Hi,

I got my interview on Jan.3 2020  for my interview in CDJ on Feb.10 2020.  We completed and the DS-260 on Feb.14 2019 and sent all supporting documents that same day. Our Case Complete email was sent to us on Feb.21 2019. So it took 11 months for us to get our interview. I'm nervous but excited for my upcoming interview.

I mailed in my DS-260 at the very end of 2019. I've had the link to book the appointment itself since November, but wanted to get my DS-260 in first, as one of the (optional) fields asked for it, and there was a notice saying to make sure the DS-260 number matched.

I've been logging into the visa appointment site ( https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-mx/iv ) multiple times everyday for the past week, but each time there are no appointments available.

I've called all the numbers available and no one I spoke with can provide any sort of timeline for when the calendar will open so we can book our appointment.

Does anyone who has gone through DCF (Direct Consular Filing - we filed in Mexico city directly with USCIS) have any data points on how long they waited for appointments to open up on the website? Or how far in advance the appointments were available for?

I believe (and am hoping) my case is a bit different to several people here claiming wait times of close to a year - we will be bringing all supporting documents to the consulate directly and not mailing them to NVC
