Thank you, all, for your posts here.  We are in a similar boat.  Simple spouse visa case.  Case Complete March 13.  Still hoping for a June interview, but feeling less likely by the day since the VJ spreadsheet is showing the most recent Case Complete date that has had an interview scheduled at CDJ is Feb 20 (scheduled on April 26 for June 26).   Good luck to you all and thanks for the info you have posted.

It's heartbreaking to know they haven't finished assigning interviews for February approvals, which means us March approvals will be lucky to get a July/August interview. It is what it is, nothing but to keep waiting and prepare as best as we can.

I was thinking about you a couple of days ago.  Checked your data and saw you hadn’t listed an appointment date.  Our cc was February 26 and our appointment is July 16, so we are ten days shy of 5 months waiting from cc. I know your frustration and agitation. Start calling as soon as you know appointments are out. I was only on hold 20 minutes. It took 2 days for the email to arrive after that. I think you must’ve just missed the cut, from the way the dates look. That happened to us last month! I was worrying we still wouldn’t get one for some reason, but that didn’t happen.  You’ll be on the front lines at the end of June!

that's because I haven't gotten any!

3 months after approval, we're still waiting for a date, which hopefully will come in August, so 5 months from approval date. :( maybe even 6.

I called and it was futile, the officer was brief and in a monotone voice said that my priority date doesn't matter and to ''keep waiting, m'am''

I'm starting to doubt we're getting an interview date soon. I'm so damn exhausted at this point.

same boat, my friend. CC march 15 :(

You should get your appointment the end of this month. From looking at the dates, they aren’t gettng through a full month anymore. (they only set appointments for cc of  late Feb and beginning of March.) You mid-Marchers should be totally in this time! I felt the same way last month- I was sure they would pass us by somehow! And no, our priority dates don’t mean anything because your husband and I are both citizens and you and my husband don’t have waivers and all that.

I got a really rude person the first time I called and a lovely one the second. At least she was real pleasant and told me we were in the queue,  unlike #1.  That was before the third call May 31 when I got the date.

I’ll be back on the island Saturday and we go to Juarez from July 11-17. I’ll go back to the island for 10 days to three weeks depending if he gets his approval. I’ll stay til my school starts if he doesn’t.  And be looking forward to retirement even more. Otherwise, I’ll head on back to the US after putting some affairs  in order and he will follow in a month or so after making arrangements for his dad. At least you know for almost damn sure you’ll get a thumbs up! They may find us not fit because we are 60 and 62, lol! Lots of people are sending positive vibes on both sides of the border so we’ll see what the stars have in store.

Only another week or two for you to wait for your date now!

You will be there! You just get to continue the pleasure of spending August in Cozumel humidity, with a week off for the intense heat of Juarez!

So that means that anyone that gets a CC in July probably wont have the interview in Juarez until around Christmas time?

Unless something changes, like adding more personnel to do interviews, which is doubtful, that is probably about what a July CC would be looking at. I hope things speed up for people. It’s nervewracking to wait. Feels like forever, I think because there is nothing more we can really do during that time.

First of all, I appreciate your message! thank you.

By any logic, yes, August should be the months we get our interview since they skipped us last month by only advancing a few friggin' days and letting April permanent resident approvals in.  By August it will be a  whopping 5 and a half months (at least) since CC. But my heart can't take having to wait another month, so I guess I haven't gotten my hopes up too much.

I also usually give up calling because I don't think it helps at all. I just get random mechanical responses like ''keep waiting, ma'am'' or ''the consulate tells us how many slots, ma'am'' so meh.

We are in our 30s, I haven't seen my husband in over five months, and we've been in a long distance relationship for almost two years now.

my patience is wearing thin.

thank you...

I truly hope they speed things up. I'm guessing they're just severely backlogged considering the sheer amount of cases that were filed between November 2016 and February 2017 or so.

I waited 10 and a half months just for approval at USCIS instead of the average 6. I've been waiting 3 and a half months for an interview date, and it will be 5 or 6 months until the actual date, totaling a year and a half instead of one.  It is what it is, unfortunately! but I truly wish that it is faster for you, and they manage to deal with the backlog.
