Conscription or military service for CR1 process ?

Hi , 

i have 25 yo and im from Algeria and my wife from usa california , we applied for CR1 we received notice of action : Approval and my Case Was Sent To The Department of State  , now we are waiting for NVC processe , my question is :

i need to get paper of Conscription or Service military for next step of my process ? 

(my situation with Algerien military  i never received any call from them )
other thing about me my father is Colonel and my brother Captain both of theme in military 
i want to know the answere to fix that and be ready

I don't think that's a requirement during any part of this process... have you seen that requested somewhere?

 

I asked about the US Selective Service System because males arriving in the US before their 26th birthday need to register.

The previous answers appear to be speculation.  Check the specific list of NVC required documents for Algeria.  Get each and every one of them (unless you have already, like birth certificate etc.) AFTER your petition is approved.  If you see the document you're talking about on that list, get it.  Otherwise, it is not required.

 

If you were IN the military, you would need a "Carte Militaire" document, but you say you did not serve.

Thanks for providing some specifics. My response was in fact speculation based on what was shared. As I often note, everything on this site should be taken with large grains of salt since very few of us are experts or lawyers!

Anything you are speculating about or that you think should be "taken with large grains of salt" are probably NOT "helpful".  As such, they are better kept to yourself, IMO.  There ARE a few experts here who DO know how to be helpful.  People needing help are wiser to wait for those helpful responses WITHOUT wading through the clutter of unhelpful speculation.
