Kinda related question here. If you pay by credit card or debit card, the payment has to be accepted at some point. Does it mean your application has been received the moment they accept the payment?

Yeah, it’s in the instructions package. I just did this last week. It gives you very detailed information about who to write money orders to and what not to do.

They won't process the payment until it is accepted, so knowing when they take payment is one way to see a day / few days sooner than the NOA1 electronic notification.
