Congratulations!!! My NOA 1 is same date but when I called today I only got the old speech lol

Seems they all give you a different answer. Last week I was told my case was at someone's desk. Yesterday I was back to pending... Crazy. Btw I'm talking about tier 2 reps.

Good luck! Tomorrow is your day!

I was lucky to speak to a tier 2 rep everytime I called. I was told that they would respond to my inquiry by yesterday but I didn't hear anything so I called today and was told their target date to respond was today. Thank you... I'll be super happy if tomorrow is actually my day.

Approved!!!

Took the hard way by having a very poor initial package (hence the NOID) but with the help of this website and its members we were ready for it and have endured the 202 day wait. So excited for the next stages.

I haven't very active in the forums but the daily updates and messages of encouragement and support from everyone here have been a godsend. My best wishes to those still waiting, hang in there. Your time is soon and it will be worth the wait!

Filed - Oct 20

NOID - April 17

RFE received - April 30

NOA2 - May 9

Notified via the new website

Congrats mate. Great to see a fellow Aussie get some good news! Love to hear from you guys too later when you start to get the ball rolling on tackling the next steps, paperwork and the Sydney embassy. It's Friday, so make sure you have a couple of cold ones to celebrate this great news!

Thanks so much for all the love and congrats guys!! Means a ton to me to see well wishes and congrats from all of you!

@DonAnn  @HTMW & everyone else waiting... hang in there friends. I SOOOOO know how it feels when you say you're happy for the approvals but crying for yourself because it feels worse and worse every day that there is no news. But it can seriously happen at any time!

Today my fiance and I were driving to a drug store to get shampoo and moisturizer because... "it was 3pm and I had just run a scan and there was no movement and USCIS always updates by 3ish"... so we figured might as well go out and run an errand or two because "nothing was happening today." I had just finished a huge long speech in the car about how I didn't think we were going to hear anything while I was here visiting over the next week and then lo and behold my phone vibrated while we were in the cosmetics aisle with the "post decision action has been taken" email and I just sobbed with relief right there in the middle of the store.

I really REALLY didn't think it would happen today or this week and it did... I know it feels like everyone is getting off the boat and you're alone, but you aren't. We're all here waiting and ready to celebrate with you when the time comes!

Thank you soooo much for your kind words @sumbunny!!! 💕💕 I’m so happy for all you who yave been approved, but it’s true that it’s getting harder and harder each day. Hopefully we’ll be joining very soon! October 31 filer here! Good luck everyone 🤞🏼🍀💕🌸

Long time lurker here... I am so happy for everyone who got their approval! Congratulations!

I was so optimistic when we started this process 205 days ago. I was oh so optimistic and oh so naive! I was thinking that our case was easy since we know eachother for over 30 years.  It’s a sad, beautiful, crazy, long story... But finally I realized, that our great love story doesn’t count as much as the complicating facts: that I am a naturalized citizen here, that we are both divorced, and he lived in 2 European countries over the past 10 years. So our case will be picked apart and checked and rechecked for who knows how long... I am devastated and overwhelmed and tired and hopeless. We are both over 40, I am here with a rare chronic health condition (that this stress of waiting does not help), he is all alone there, without any family left. (I tried expediting our case but since I have this ultra rare condition that does not fit in any of the USCIS boxes, we were denied).

Anyway, I just wanted to vent for that few unlucky people who have left on this tread, and for those lucky and kind few who stayed behind to support them. This community is really amazing!

I am so sorry to hear about your situation. It is hard..and there are days you think it's impossible. I can't imagine your situation but i know what it feels like when you go over a certain time. You have expectations but when they are not granted....it feels horrible. Just know there is an end to this. Moments before, we received our approval..i had given up in expecting it sooner. I hadn't given up on it not coming but accepted the fact maybe i won'tget it now but rather later

..i prayed for patience if it took another 100 days because i reminded myself of all of the reasons why i wanted to marry this guy.

Our story is somewhat similar to yours. Traveled a lot, both had lived in different countries and we refiled because we were denied the first time. And ive seen similar situations. It varies and it is case by case scenario. Dont lose hope, i never did. I had gotten impatient and very frustrated when i was 2 days away from reaching my 7 months marker. But god listened and had amazing people here in VJ who helped me get there. Good Luck sister ❤❤ i will definitely pray for you.

The whole process is draning so please take care of your health.

Hopefully it will happen soon. I won't say that tomorrow or today or this week is yours. I did the same and i had so much disappointment at the end if the day and it really sucked at the end of the week. @DonAnn i believe thst your day is coming and it will happen. And it will be SOON. This is a situation we cannot predict at all. And if i can get my noa2 then you will certainly get yours. Praying for you sister ❤

May I ask why did you guys were denied the first time on what ground / reason did they declined the approval?

You don’t have anything to worry about Girl! Cheer up! Like others said. The call center people doesn’t know more than what we now when we look at the website. They will update your name. And it will be no problem at all. You are Approved! USCIS don’t  send letters by mistake. But a mistake on the name is completely normal. If you look at the scans. Some of them said “Name was updated or date of birthday  was updated “ things like that. So don’t worry. You can call also and ask for a Tier2 if that will make you feel better. but Like I said. Don’t worry. Enjoy the rest of this journey that is close to the approval! Hugs and cheer up! ❤️💃

Btw: mine was never updated anywhere 🙄😂

Thank you girl.

We were denied because we weren't able to meet within two years because of a lot of reasons..but the lawyer misguided us and said that we can apply for a waiver showing it's because of cultural restrictions even though i told her i will be going to see him later that month. I was a bit impatient because i didnt want to waste time in applying. The lawyer didn't tell me how serious that requirement is or i would've postponed applying. They made it sound like it was nothing. A good lawyer would've said go see him and apply after. But i guess it was all about the money
