I our own case we have invitation card printed and attached to our petition but the date on it expires March 10th so therefore they require additional evidence from my fiancee abroad to write a letter and sent it to them through me that he would marry me when he get here, so we  he wrote it and he signed and I also signed to show we are both in agreement with everything  he wrote and we send it to them.

So either weeding invitation or booking of halls, photographers for the weeding or letter  of intent.

Either of the above is sufficient.

Yeh, we got our approval last week. Just a heads up for anyone who is worried about letters of intent etc.

For our proof of intent to get married, we put in our contracts with the Wedding Venue, Videographer and Photographer, all for our given wedding date.

Ahaha it is the only thing that got me through the process, before I found the forum.

 

Like I said I done no research so my fiance and me had already made plans. It was why I was so anxious. Already people had booked plane tickets for a wedding date in August...

yes .. but with this process it is very difficult to specify dates ...

but  we can start to find photographers ... dress .......

Someone opened my eyes to the truth..literally woke up and read those posts first. A couple who filed in may it took them 301 days. "Nothing can help except relaxing." I agree and also inquiries and infopass appointments do nothing at all...there is no accountability from the employees processing cases... I already knew that deep down. 

If there is a will then there is a way... 

I am literally heartbroken at the moment. I feel guilty for putting my fiance through this brutal process and the funny thing is he feels guilty for making me wait for him (I told him he is an idiot)... I know eventually it will come but why can't I have it sooner than later... I pray for what's best and that even the process after we reach this first milestone is easy and fast. 

I don't know now whether I should fight any longer and let it be..but I am deteriorating in worry and stress. Seeking info, talking to people is the only way I cope...because I feel useful and proactive.

Please God listen to my prayers. Please pray for me and my fiance. Please pray for everyone who is just like me. That we find strength and patience to handle this..

Got RFE!  Oct 23 NoA1 (oct 25 in new system). No status update on old system yet. got text message from new system only. Anyone know if they update the RFE notice online so I can see what it's about ?

 

My Back story: Lurking on this forum for a while.  My citizenship application took 14 long months (hence the username) which delayed K1 application for fiance. Ended up having a daughter earlier this year. Been shuttling between US and India every month (luckily my job allowed some flexibility) . Submitted daughters' CRBA yesterday. Was asked for DNA test today .😒 So I ended up getting 2 RFEs within  a day!

After my post, an hour ago,  I prayed and prayed... and begged God to give me the strength to wait another 100 plus days if that is what's written for me. I had accepted my fate. When I wake up in the morning, I check VJ first then my case status on the new website, and then the old website but not today..

 

And after I prayed and prayed, I called my fiance but he didn't pick up (snoozing)

 

Then I finally decided to log in 

And I couldn't believ my eyes that we were 

APPROVED
