3 days ago.... my fiance called .... tier 2 explain him... our case was not assigned yet ....

Was October 4th last week, says October 9th today, I'm sure it will say October 10th tomorrow and it used to only update once a month or something ridiculous. SO I agree.. maybe they're actually trying to catch up so that the information available is fairly accurate instead of way off.

I highly doubt they think they are in ahead of this date so they slow down to ‘catch up’ with this date....:(

Imagine the look on my face when uscis letter turned out to be for ex-husband again... why would they keep sending him mail at my house when I sent proof that we are divorced?? Anger level? 100%

No they really sent about 3 or 4 letters to my house for him since I filed for my fiance. They want to remove him from the country because he only had the green card that was good for 2 years and I guess he didn't do anything to get the other one... we argued too much and he is too selfish so no sympathy from me.

The letter that came today came in the form of a notice of action. I really thought it was for my fiance but then I read the name and started cussing

Yes I did scream earlier... they really make it hard for people to remain calm. Only reason why I won't call them tomorrow to ask how about sending me a response to my petition is b/c the letter is from Vermont Service Center and not California Service Center.

Also i spoke to tier 1 who accessed the same info that from my past experiences tier 2 could access...they were able to check with the office my case is pending..apparently it's in line to be adjudicated and not pending security checks..which is better than nothing but still nerveracking and frustrating. I think they are making a few changes on how they manage customers and who and what portal provides info

It certainly is a possibility, although we would be hearing from people getting approved in the new website. Either way, we'll know soon if that is the reason...

@Daniel P @Sarac9 @DonAnn I called today concerning my case...I mean the rfe I sent back, we'll I was put on hold for 15min and she finally told me they are on October now.....

So October fillers plus me they have reverse back to let us go.

So be patient.
