Oct 25th filer.  Just got off the phone with USCIS.  I was lucky enough to speak to a tier 2 officer who was not in a rush to get me off the phone like most of them are.  He was really helpful and took his time to look into my case.  I was informed that my case is with an officer at the moment. Must have happened today cause I spoke to someone last Friday and I got the "your case is pending and within normal processing time" response.  Not sure how long the adjudication process takes, but I suspect it varies depending on the officer.  Either way, this is probably the best news I've had so far and it's Monday, so I'm good spirits. 

 

My best wishes and positive vibes to all October filers still waiting.  Feels like this will be a good week.  Resilience and strength is key with this whole process.  A big thank you to everyone for the support and positivity in this thread.  Stay strong!

I feel like If i speak to anyone in USCIS who gives me the same answer I will yell scream and cuss

Nothing seen on a mini scan around your case, nothing on mine either; perhaps we’ll see a little movement in a couple of hours...

 

Tier 2 called back and said they’re waiting on my Fiancé’s background check to come back from Algiers (hmmmm, I was told last week that everything is done and our petition is under review). Such a mystery 😑

 

Apparently, I love torturing myself. Just another manic Monday!
