Same here, got approved also on the 27th and found out about it through the letter they sent yesterday. I also could've save a week of stress had we get notification earlier. But on the bright side, next week our case may be received by NVC already. :)

yeah I'm so relieved and finally can concentrate on my work haha

about the guideline after NOA2 you've attached, does it also apply to ppl living overseas?

I'm a Korean citizen but I live in Tokyo and am doing this process through the US embassy in Japan.

hope it doesn't affect my timeline..?

This week was way too slow so if we don't see approvals pouring in next week then something is seriously wrong with the adjudicators at USCIS.

Everyone needing approvals please join me in  praying that adjudicators get plenty of rest (& maybe even sex) over the weekend and food and coffee everyday next week... we need them to be happy next week!!!

Agreed! 🙏🏽

Eh random question, did any of you guys not receive your original NOA1 and then had to have it requested? Because that happened to Javier and me. When we originally called USCIS didn't advise to go on the site and request it but the next time we called to enquire about expediting they did. So now the notification date shows up as 02/12/2018 on the NOA1 - still says received date 10/30/2018. I'm just wondering if that made them put us on February filing.... @Naes @Daniel P

No. It didn’t. Received date don’t change. The notification date probably has a different status on it and has nothing to do with when your case was received.

@Naes On our NOA2 it has a date like from 4/27 to 8/26. Why do we have that range?

That’s the validity of your noa2, you need to schedule interview before that expires or you will need to extend it through your embassy.

We got APPROVED!!!  I woke up 20 min ago, and started reading the forum, and I thought I should check the new USCIS website. I couldn’t believe my eyes!

We sent our case on 26th October and they received it on 30th October. It was approved on 1st November. NOA2 is here187 days after NOA1!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Best of luck for the rest of you! Have patience! Your approval day is coming!❤️
