I was in a group message with people who were may filers.. and some of them just had POE now..

Anyways, they were able to apply within the week of their arrival.

yes... I am trying to relax my mind  ... you are right ... we are happy for the approvals ... but it is very strange to be on this boat ... every day more alone ... omg!!! Another horrible weekend!!!!!

Glad you said no because this is definitely fraud (the tpurist visa to enter country after getting married already part).

Next day for SSN should be fine in my experience but you of to make sure you have the number that they give beneficiary when they enter US... I need to check what this is called

I'm upset for EVERYONE waiting past 6 months.  I think all of us should be either saying we are approved or working on RFE... for the people that filed before October I don't even have the right words to say how sad I think that is😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

You can get married anywwhere and do the CR-1. Some people get married while visiting and then go home while the wait, some get married at the international border (there's a famous bridge in Mexico for this), or in any foreign country - many do it in The Hague.
