Well I am almost at the 7months point. To be frankly honest - it's been an almost 5yr wait as it wasn't even financially viable before to be with my other half.

However, I am going to refuse to let something that is now out of my control anger me or upset me.

I have a lot of positives to look forward to, as does everyone in this forum, but I can see positive shouts don't do well here. I will go back to being a silent observer. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I know many many coping skills and I'm tired of using them. It's not our fault that they changed the processing times. I think we all gave USCIS enough time to process the applications so now it's time to say how we feel. It's great that you can still remain calm but please try to understand that not everybody is the same and what works for you may not work for others. No one suggested you leave but if our complaining becomes hard to read then you don't of to read what we say. I feel like a earlier post suggested that you are questioning whether the people complaining are being honest... please leave that one to USCIS and God who is the real Judge... I'm sure everyone here positively wish you speedy approval from USCIS btw😉😎

Yeh I totally agree everyone is free to speak, but I don't want to try and say anything now to lift anyone's spirits because I seem to be not doing that job by saying anything with optimism.

I truly just want people not to be sad about the process and think of all the wonderful things after.

Just to think more about the happier side to the K1 and the reason we started it...

Yes... I understand it and thank you for your words.... but we are with our optimism at the limit... to empathize with the workers of the USCiS.

but thank you for your words.

@Hemzi thank you for being so positive!!! This wait is long and difficult but we should make it as smooth as possible for us and for others. Hopefully we’ll be all getting our approvals. 💕🌸 To those who have received their NOA2, congratulations!!! 🍾🎉 Hope to join you very soon!

I guess I do have a knack of staying calm in very stressful situations. I have been likened to a robot at times by those around me. It is easy to forget that not everyone can stay calm but I also get very upset when I see upset people. My natural instinct is to do whatever it takes to cheer people up.

I didn't accuse anyone here of not being honest, what I actually meant is there are a lot of people who use the K1 system who are not and it's because of that, that the system gets tighter and tighter and honest people have to suffer because of it.

If I made anyone feel hurt with my words, I am sorry.

Yes @DonAnn we are ALL spent.. Today is rather heated, and for VERY GOOD reason.. I know @Hemzi is just trying to help. JUST A VERY DIFFICULT DAY all around.. When we see nothing moving, and we are waiting and our cases are not complicated then it becomes a PROBLEM. Normally I am positive as us Jamaicans are friendly, gregarious, and sociable... however, I am being duly tested.. Blessings and love to ALL

@Hemzi you did your best.. The rest of your family members on here (including me), is having a BAD day, and it is nothing personal. People have given up their flats etc because they cannot renew a lease for a year during this process. Many beneficiaries have nowhere to live. Their lives are in limbo... Us petitioners do not know how to properly plan as we have no timeline. I am physically ill, and I know I should have more faith. This testing is real! I have NEVER gone through immigration before so I am all the way around overwhelmed.. I wish I could be the one to cheer us on.. Maybe tomorrow.. Much love

One of my workmates is Jamaican always puts a smile on my face when I see her! And yeh it is hard to see the posts of those who are usually positive become the exact opposite.

It is a truly tiring experience and in all honesty. If I didn't have this forum to read and chat on for the last few weeks. I think I would have melted and died 1000x already with the sheer wait.

It is because of everyone here that I can keep my positive mental attitude.

Thank you?
