I'm sorry but now I think about the people who are suffering like me all this situation in this foro ... I do not empathize with USCIS ...

I hope you do not have to wait almost seven months for your answer ... or for an RFE ...

We started here with greaty enthusiasm .... but the days without answers cancel the optimism....

good luck with your process (L)

That is EXACTLY where I am :(

Lol this actually made me smile.. Im Nigerian and we do the same... I do it a lot... Long with an eye roll if vexed enough 😂

Lol yes I love hearing the long ones in the Nigerian movies I watch and seeing the looks that people like Mama G gives. I sometimes mimick some of the things they say in those movies like, "heyyyyy USCIS has killed me ooh. I'm finished!"  I can't spell most of what I say but I've seen you write a few worda on here lol

Well I am almost at the 7months point. To be frankly honest - it's been an almost 5yr wait as it wasn't even financially viable before to be with my other half.

However, I am going to refuse to let something that is now out of my control anger me or upset me.

I have a lot of positives to look forward to, as does everyone in this forum, but I can see positive shouts don't do well here. I will go back to being a silent observer. I wish everyone the best of luck.

How is it difficult to be optimistic? You're in love no? You have found a person you want to be with for the rest of your life? Yes, the visa is out of your hands and in someone else's to make a decision, but as you said... your package is perfect!

You should have no problems :) Just remember the people working on our cases are actually human too! Can you imagine one day one guideline applies and 24hrs later it's changed to something else? I don't think they sit there and laugh at all the files...

Love has a power like no other and when it's pure and real there is nothing (not even a USCIS officer) that can stop it.

This "Love has a power like no other and when it's pure and real there is nothing (not even a USCIS officer) that can stop it" is SO true.. If they do not approve us in time, our LOVE TIME IS ON HOLD.,

Yeh I totally agree everyone is free to speak, but I don't want to try and say anything now to lift anyone's spirits because I seem to be not doing that job by saying anything with optimism.

I truly just want people not to be sad about the process and think of all the wonderful things after.

Just to think more about the happier side to the K1 and the reason we started it...

We appreciate you, and what you have shared. WE are ALL very tired, and please DO NOT take it personally. Some people's wait is harder than others. Some can travel in the meantime or even give up their jobs, and live with the petitioner for a bit until. Some cannot travel AT ALL; neither beneficiary nor petitioner. Some have been waiting for years to even be eligible to apply or financially able to apply. It is a lot of scenarios here so the "heaviness" you are sensing runs deep. Please DO NOT remain silent. We are a family.. but currently one of bruised emotions... Thank you so much
