November filer here. So I called USCIS yesterday and the rep told me that our case is still pending and that they are currently working on November 1st 2017 cases. Oh I gave her an attitude as last week they told me they were working on the same date. So I begged her, yes begged her to transfer me to a tier 2 officer. I got a call back after 3 hours and the officer told me that as of June 15 our case is approved. I got excited and thanked him many times. I am waiting for an update on the app or their website but it still says received. He better read his screen correctly! Im wondering how many days would it take for the site to be updated and if someone has experienced this and got a notification after.

There have definitely been a handful of "silent" NOA2s that aren't updated on any of the sites or app. Have you signed up on the new website to check there? If Tier2 says you were approved, I'm SURE you'll get the paper NOA2 this week sometime, so don't worry!

Thanks! I checked on both old and new website and it still says received. But yeah he absolutely said approved to me yesterday. I will be waiting for that NOA2 I have been praying for!!! I pray for everyone's approval.

Ours is never approved in both site...expect to receive the letter in at least 4 days...Congratulations!

Don't lose hope, you'll get that approval soon and then you'll be able to leave all this insane wait behind. You're almost there

Nope....i spent 5 sleepless nyts constantly checking the site lol...only knew abot our approval when we received the mail.

Hey everyone!! 

Congratulations to those who are at the final stage of this god forsaken process and big congratulations to those finally done with this process. 

It's also very upsetting to see that so many fellow octobears are waiting. And also to see one of my best friends i have made on here back out of this process... 

 

The only thing that can get you through this process is patience, support, and self care. 

 

My fiance and i went through a roller coaster of emotions...but we pushed through. 

 

Now NVC screwed us over and sent our case to the wrong embassy. It sucks but at least the hard part is over.. and we are optimistic.

 

I wish you all the best..there is an end.
