Hello everyone! I've never posted here since I recieved my NOA2 last April 18.

 

I got my Case # after 10 days.

Passed my Medical Examination at St. Luke's last May 29 and,

Passed my final interview at US Embassy Manila last week June 8 ❤

 

Now I just need to wait for my k1 visa to arrived within 5-10 working days.

Today, at day 238, after my Senator asked for expedited processing over a week ago, I have just gotten a text that they updated my case and they SENT ME AND RFE!!!! I sent in a huge packet with so much proof!!!! I have no  idea what can be missing!!! I am crying my eyes out! And I have to leave to Europe in a couple of days because my mother was diagnosed with brain cancer ( the third kind of cancer in 4 years) and I want to be by her side to support her. So now I won’t have time to respond to this RFE quickly because I won’t be in the country for a couple of weeks. So this is going to add way more than an month for my 8 months of current waiting. I don’t know what to say. When we started this process last year in October, we thought that his POE will be middle of June. Now we are looking at what ?September, October!? I am devastated.

I think I read here that USCIS workers are able to fax the RFE letter to you... maybe you can check to see if this is true in order to try to send them what they need before leaving for Europe. I'm sorry to hear that you got an RFE and to hear about your mother. Hopefully the RFE is for something simple... stay strong and good luck with everything

Hey. So i just had a csc feedback this morning that they already recieved the additional evidence i mailed. How long will it take for them to proccess my case again? 😑 weeks, months?

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date. 

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I haven't seen anyone waiting without RFE... at least no one that responded.

I just woke up and we have been approved!!! 🎉🍾👏🏼 Thank you all for your prayers and support!!! It took them 14 days after receiving our RFE response and a total of 224 days. Hang in there guys, your approvals are coming!!! 💕💕💕

Wow congratulations!!! 14 days for response was not bad based on what I've read here... now you can move on to the next step and have better days!:)

Just a little update...

 

VISA IN HAND!!!

 

After so long I can't believe I finally got it. And now just two more weeks of wait to that one way flight! :D
