These are just automatically generated updates from the system. Nothing to be worried about. You should expect them about once every month.

Same exact situation here, my RFE Status change to received information was updated 15 days ago and I received that email this morning. I know that "technically" an RFE can add another 60 days for approval but the trends lately have shown only 2-3 weeks, I don't really know what to think at the moment. Calling them I don't think gets anybody progress and actually just makes me feel more horrible.

Now, my fiance and I are looking into just having him come here for a few weeks to just spend some time together, we can't manage this situation of waiting 7 months after submitting an application for an approval..

Use this tool to find who they are for your state, then you can find their website and call or email their office to discuss.

What would the rule of thumb be before reaching out to the Congressman? My RFE evidence was received just over 2 weeks ago and still no response. Do I wait longer? Can it hinder my case if someone were to call and check too soon?

For RFEs the stated processing time is up to 60 days, so I don't think reaching out will help much. Give it some time, 2 weeks is about average right now I think and depending on the type of RFE it could be longer or shorter.

Yes seeing the trends have given me hope for my case, I saw a case getting approved within a week of receiving the information.. ahh this unknown is just torture really :(

Okay .. just checking as NOA2 yesterday was for 10/11.. hang in there! I’m here rooting for you

Thank you for your continued support. I wish I was able to say that I got approved but at this point (212 days) I feel like my case status is NEVER going to change even though I know it should.

I went ahead and called USCIS this morning to do inquiry and emailed my local congressman after. Unfortunately, the current representative for congressman in my area doesn't seem to be as proactive as the person I worked with in the past so that doesn't make me feel good. He wasn't available when i called and who knows when he'll check his email...

When you reached out to your congressman, what did you all say to them? Just that your application is outside typical processing times for a K1 and that you would appreciate if they would reach out to them?
