It is stressful

Totally lol - I simply called just to see if my case has been assigned yet and the lady I spoke with was incredibly rude. She actually told me I'm still within normal processing times (7 months just passed) and we literally had a back and forth about how to count seven months. She said 6, I said 7 and it just kept going. Case still not assigned, no big deal - if i'm left behind for months then so be it - nothing I can do.... It is what it is.

Thank you dear! I really need your support guys! I don’t know how I would do it without you guys. Any news for you @Mara Liceth how’s your process going?

Hang in there girl! Soon it’s gonna be your turn 😘. I’m waiting for my case to arrive to NVC I will be calling this Friday to see they got it. The good thing about colombia is that they are really fast because cases are electronic and appointments can be scheduled within 2 weeks. So I’m hoping time goes fast 🙏

praying for you to get your approval soon! 🙏

I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you ❤️

True; but it’s okay - I’m just praying super hard for continued patience and approval soon enough. I think I’m just going to disconnect for a while and keep you guys company! ❤️❤️

I can relate.  The last time I called the lady went back and forth with me about the processing time but she wasn't rude though.  Anyway,  I believe you WILL get a response VERY SOON.

I have decided to go visit my fiance... need to go have some fun and prepare for whatever is ahead. 🛬

My petition was approved.  I submitted on 11 October 2017 and it was approved on 15 May 2018.  I contacted my senator a few weeks ago and received an email yesterday stating that his office contacted USCIS on the 13 May 2017.  So, I am not sure if the petition just ran its course or if my senator influenced the decision.   I am very disheartened by this entire experience.   I am a retired veteran, 20 years of active duty, 100% disabled due to combat related injuries and I have an infant son, 8 months old, with my fiance.  I just don't understand how my petition went past the normal processing time and why I was forced to contact my senator.  Anyway, good luck to everyone who is still waiting and I hope your day comes soon.

congratulations!!!!

A bunch of approvals today. They don't seem to have updated the RFE's yet, but I will include them in tomorrow's post. (Sorry, I have to go to bed already, early shift at work tomorrow...)

This is really frustrating!

Call again to see if you can get some sort of an answer. This ia really really urghhh. I was so sure you will get it before the seven month marker. I can't believe they are dragging this out. Can i call on your behalf and just cuss them out?

...

Lol

I hope you're doing well. I see that you're patiently waiting. You are such a strong person. I was a day away from reaching my 7 months and I felt defeated.

I will make special dua for you now that ramadan is starting tomorrow.
