ive seen you guys use the term, "silent Noa"... what exactly do you  mean by that.

It means the apps / websites were not updated with the Approved status, and no text or email notifications were received. A piece of mail just magically showed up in your mailbox one day to let you know you were approved (or possibly received an RFE).

Anxiously awaiting a response after receiving RFE, I have seen such a wide scale of time frames in which you can expect NOA2 after the information is received.

My status changed to Response to USCIS Request for Evidence was received 5/7, I'm anticipating hopefully 1-2 weeks more if so :) Any recent RFE's on divorce decrees with a time frame after receiving the documentation needed?

Here is the logic all petition depends on the desk it was.....it might be on the desk of a person that is so lazy that he or she will not go through more than 10 to 15 petitions on a day.

And on the other hand a petiton might fall on the desk of a person who is hard working and God fearing wanted to do his or her job to let people be with thier loved ones.

In short all petitions end time is 7 month so if your petiton is more than 7 month it will be advise able to call and ask about your petiton... Why because that is how the uscis will know that a certain petition is not yet attended to from who ever your petition is assigned to.

So as the help record your complain they will quickly check for you who is in charge of your petiton.

Though they might give you an answer that we are on it but really after they end the call they will call or send a mail to the person in charge of your petiton why this petiton is taking time.

So it's advice to keep calling and asking all about your petiton not only looking at other petition been approved and your is not because the person going through your petition might be different.

Good evening.

We just got an RFE, we don't know why. Does anyone knows how long it takes for them to process the new evidence?

Mine took 8 days after receipt of my RFE

3:27 AM and I can't sleep... sigh.  I never knew I had anxiety until this process... hoping something will happen this week and I hope it will be approval because today is day 204... rfe is better than nothing but I don't want one.  Good luck to everyone waiting  (especially the 200 club filers and beneficiaries lol).

HANG IN THERE @DonAnn
