Booze&BluesThanks a lot for the info! I am still waiting and on July the 3rd I will pass the 3-month mark since my interviewer approved me...... Almost there! My interview was not a pleasant experience and I decided to bring everything with me. I was asked for the individual passport pictures since I asked to change my name. I was not asked for couple pictures, but I had them with me. I suggest that you bring everything you have. Good luck!

@mexi88 I read on a different forum that judicial oath ceremony time frame in and around the Philadelphia area depends on how busy is your respective county's court. One person mentioned to me that it may take up to 3 months to get to judicial oath ceremony. But I hope that was an exaggerated example and not the norm. Eventually tho you'll get there!

Off topic question, did anyone on this thread got asked for either passport size pictures or married couple pictures on their interviews?

I'll be attending my interview this coming Tuesday and thought to check in with you guys.

Thanks and good luck to all.:)

Thank you for the info.

I wish, however, that they paid more attention to their testing. On April 20 my status got updated to "Oath ceremony has been scheduled. You will get details in the mail". I wait for the letter and it arrives on April 26th. It says that my oath was scheduled for April 20th! The same day they updated my status! The letter itself is dated April 20th!

Now I get a notice saying that I have missed my oath ceremony!

@AlwaysSunny i have the same problem like you. Have you get the new oath ceremony day yet ?

Hi,

I have a question. I missed my first Naturalization Oath Ceremony because I left the country. Once I came back I mailed the Philadelphia USCIS office explaining why I missed my naturalization ceremony and provided copies of my flight itinerary and boarding passes (mine and my husbands who traveled with me). I have not heard from the Philadelphia USCIS office yet.

Has any of you dealt with this before? Can they ask me to reapply for citizenship? Any information is greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
