U.S.—After legendary hip-hop artist Kanye West expressed his support for President Donald Trump on Twitter, igniting a firestorm of controversy, liberals reminded the nation that everyone needs to respect minorities’ opinions until the exact moment those opinions contradict their own.

Progressives confirmed they are totally passionate about listening to and supporting people of color, but added the caveat that anything they express can be dismissed if it is not in line with progressive values.

This is what I have experienced and seen myself. Liberals love to tout how all of us "White Privileged People" speak out about anything going on in the community then we are either xenophobic, homophobic, or racist. But the very same Liberals and Liberal media outlets that say this ####### don't know what to say or do when it's minorities saying the exact same thing that the white people are saying then they don't know how to act or what to do at all.

This is a paraphrase of what Rush Limbaugh has long said:  Liberal are all for freedom of speech, as long as that speech exactly matches what they think or want to hear.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

minorities can be conservative,  republican, trump supporters.. whatever. there's a difference between respecting a person's right to their own opinion and disagreeing with an opinion. what would you guys think if liberals everywhere were like, kayne is a trump supporter - that must make trump alright? pfft.

also, what do you guys think about this? blow your mind?

I haven't seen a liberal making assumptions about the profession of Kanye's mom either.

You have two points here in which I will try to get to but I will delve into each of them separately .

1. You are correct that Minorities can be anything that they want them to be, but from my own experience while live in CA is that Conservatives/Republicans are always grouped in the "Privileged White" category. I say it like this because they always want to associate us with being Racists, Xenophobic, or Homophobic. Because all of our ideas stem from having "White Privilege" and thus we are never able to go beyond those ideas and think outside of the box. All the while the very same people calling us Republicans/Conservatives these things and saying "How dare we think or say such vile things" usually are Upper Class people who will never step foot in any of these areas or come down to actually speak with the average person on the street no matter if that average person is white, black, asian, or hispanic.

So when a average person who is a minority speaks out against those very same policies that us people of "privilege" have been speaking out about then, those very same upper class people don't know what to think.

2. Did you actually read the article or just going off of the headline? I saw the headline yesterday and waited until today to actually read the whole article. They were asked if they were ever paid by the Trump Campaign and they denied it, asked again and they denied it, asked specifically about a $1274 payment to them and they denied being paid by the Trump Campaign. What it comes out to be is that the $1274 payment to them was a reimbursement for roundtrip plan tickets to an event in Ohio.

"Actually, this was for, we were asked to join the Women for Trump tour back in 2016. And Ms Lara Trump asked that our airline tickets be refunded back to us because we paid for those tickets when we went from New York to Ohio"

That hardly reeks of them being "paid by the Trump Campaign". When I saw the headlines I was thinking that they lied about being paid 5 or 6 figures by the Campaign, but a reimbursement of plane tickets that cost $1274.94 is hardly "being paid by the campaign".

Because his Mom's dead ###, she died during a routing plastic surgery some years back that he paid for. Paying for the plastic surgery(liposuction) that ended up killing your Mom would be brutal.

1. white privilege applies to all white people, no matter if they're conservative or liberal or independent. white privilege has nothing to do with these additional labels of 'racist/xenophobic/homophobic' you're throwing in the mix.

2.  they're stating they've never been paid by the trump campaign, the fec filings say they were. did the trump campaign lie? Filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) show that the campaign paid the duo $1,275 on Nov. 22, 2016, for "field consulting.

1. You obviously have never read the LA Times, you should try sometime.

2. It was actually 1274.94 to be exact.

1. not sure what that has to do with anything.

2.so the filings were not exact. i don't care. point is, trump campaign desperately needs/wants minority support. i wouldn't be surprised if kayne's is making some dough for his recent profession of trump love. he's got a 20 million dollar house to pay for, after all.

1. Because the LA Times is really big on the whole "White Privilege" issue when Republicans want to speak out about issues going on locally and federally.

2. Ok, you can be mad if you want about the filing and how you think they lied but the truth is the Trump appeals to all ethnic groups.

1. and that has nothing to do with white privilege covering all white people.

2. i'm not mad about the filing. either they lied or the trump campaign did. the truth is for all the boohoooing i read here about soros funding every liberal protest/campaign..guess that stems from a guilty conscious. trump campaign has to buy some support. no biggie.
