So anyone not agreeing with these protests by these very highly paid players is a racist?

What other demographics doesn't agree with a peaceful protest against police brutality and racism? If the shoe fits...

So anyone that takes offense to the flag being disrespected is a racist.  Got it.

peaceful protest is not disrespecting the flag. i'm sure you realize many, many americans have died for the right to peacefully protest.

it is interesting how many people go absolutely crazy over a football player protesting police brutality and racial injustice - but will defend the rights of nazis/skinheads to protest till the cows come home.

36 U.S. Code § 301 - National anthem

(a)Designation.—

The composition consisting of the words and music known as the Star-Spangled Banner is the national anthem.
(b)Conduct During Playing.—During a rendition of the national anthem—
(1)when the flag is displayed—
(A)
individuals in uniform should give the military salute at the first note of the anthem and maintain that position until the last note;
(B)
members of the Armed Forces and veterans who are present but not in uniform may render the military salute in the manner provided for individuals in uniform; and
(C)
all other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart, and men not in uniform, if applicable, should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and
(2)
when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

It says should, not must. Must is the only word in laws and policies that makes something mandatory. Perfectly fine to kneel without disrespecting anything/anyone.

How are they disrespecting the flag?

It is the perception of those that are against it.  Remember, disrespect is in the eye of the beholder.  You or I may not feel disrespected by the "protests", but someone else may, and when all the reasons for these protests are left to the imagination of viewers, that is what you will get.  I still don't get these highly paid athletes shooting themselves in the foot.

I may not think it is, but that is not to say someone else may think differently.  What is interesting is how many people support a football player protesting police brutality that is a huge supporter of a brutal communist dictator.

Well then that's their problem. And I think it is important for these successful high paid black players to stand up for people who can't stand up for themselves.

Actually, if there are enough "disrespected" folks out there, then it also becomes the NFL's problem.

So two communists.  What else is new, supporters of a political system that is responsible for more deaths of their citizens than any other system.

what else is new? well, the reality that capitalism is responsible for it's own share of deaths, especially when viewed from the black perspective. to simply say that malcolm x was a communist shows a severe lack of knowledge regarding who is was and his ideals.

You keep bringing up the 1st Amendment relative to the NFL, the two have nothing to do with each other.  The NFL serves a very broad customer base with many opinions (some public officials and some private citizens), however it does allow for political protests at this time due to the ways their rules are written and the agreement they have with the NFLPA.  This may change in the future and more than likely there will be a labor dispute in the near future due to a softening of revenue to the league.

You also implied Trump supporters wanted to restrict the first amendment rights of climate scientists.  Do you have proof?  I'll bet you missed the proposals from the progressive leftist leaders from the previous administration that wanted to make it a crime to speak out against or debate these climate scientists.

Personally as a Trump supporter, I don't want to see any MDL voices silenced.

I am NOT a Trump supporter but find the misuse of the term Liberal quite disgusting, seems in the US to translate to the exact opposite.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

But not as many a socialism/communism, but I can understand the denial for a failed political/economic system.

I agree, and I try my best to use Leftist as opposed to Liberal in my comments.  However, I do see it a lot and find it disgusting as well.
