Sorry to burst your bubble, but many of those quotes have been attributed to other politicians over the years and are urban myths. Go look them up on snopes.

and so does every Supreme Court we have ever had. The freedoms we have are limited from speech to practicing one's religion. Absolute freedom does not exist and I think you would be hard pressed to find many Americans who disagree with it (LuckyStike excluded of course ;) )
