Hubby got his 1 year stamp today.  They kept his green card and the worker wrote in his passport that the I-751 and N-400 are pending. When my husband asked about that, the worker said "don't worry about your cases, they're coming soon". Unfortunately, no further clarification was provided. Both cases should be at the field office, so fingers crossed will get an appointment notice before the end of the year.

That is good news!  May I ask how close to the Greencard expiration date he was when you went to get the stamp?

Reason being is my 10yr GC expires April 2021 and I have not even had biometrics yet, so am trying to decide how and when to get the stamp?    Sorry for all the questions; did you have to make an appointment or just show up and wait in line?

Thank you so much in advance.

Thanks! And his physical green card expired 5/1/19. The extension letter expires 11/1/20. I'm not sure of the process prior to COVID, but I believe now they're only giving appointments to people whose extension letter (or green card) expires in 30 days. I read somewhere here that another user called and was told they could only schedule an appointment when they had 10 days until the expiration. I had to call USCIS and ask to speak to a tier 2 officer. I explained that hubby needs his license for work and we need a stamp to renew it. They said the only appointment they had was for 2 weeks out at 7:40 and we took it.

You're welcome.

Ah ok!  That's very helpful, Thank you!

Yeah, I have a feeling I will need to get an extenstion as well.  I work for myself and need to drive and the Drivers License expires when the GC does so that is really my only concern at this point.  🙂

I am glad it went well and you were able to get the stamp.

Unfortunately, with the backlog due to COVID, I think a lot of people will be needing the stamp :(

When its your time, just know that you should call as soon as they open (after a certain point in the day, the tier 1 officers will no longer transfer you to tier 2) and you really have to push (almost demand) to be transferred to a tier 2 officer. The tier 1 officer continuously asked me if they could do anything and if I had any questions for them.

I'm glad too and I'm anxious to be able to update the group with an interview scheduled notification lol

I’m an April filer and got my Biometrics reuse letter almost two months ago...and nothing. It looks like Atlanta office has crawled to a halt 😕

I am Nov 2019 filer and I have not seen any progress after my Biometrics in last Dec 2019.

Did you call them or send requests?

Nothing yet. I just asked the officer when I went last month to Atlanta Field office for my I-551 stamp. They just said its in process and that's it. Atlanta office real is a pain for everyone right now. Specially for I-751 and N-400 pending one's.

It looks like they’ve sent a bunch of Bio Reuse letters on September 4th, me included. I wonder why? And why nothing after that?

I just logged into USCIS account and estimated wait time has changed form 2 months to 31 days :o Just yesterday it was reading 2 months. I'm trying not to read too much into this, because I know its not reliable...But, I can't help but feel a little excited.

Estimated Completion Date is still February (4 months).

Also, all our other case statuses (including I-751) are showing this message:

Good morning y’all

I had my interview yesterday afternoon and I passed it, however, no same day oath was given. The interview was conducted pretty much like what I’ve read at this site. The officer told me that I’ll receive the oath ceremony letter in the mail.

I decided to file N-400 after almost 27 years being a permanent resident, because I wanted to vote for this election. Even I missed the registration by a couple of weeks due to the pandemic, I still can say I’m happy that I’ll be done with USCIS
