Unfortunately, the wait time was again wrong this time. Same result when the countdown reached 0 days it says "We are taking longer than expected to process your case". So no hopes from that counter anymore. Only thing can be a sudden surprise of change in status. LOL.

I’m so sorry 😢 I suspect it will do the same for mines too. I’m down to “17 days” now.... what is going on with Atlanta field office they are so slow!

I think that is just for one day as mentioned for facilities issue.

Maybe some technical issues for the system they use or some building location issues. I dont know could be anything. Did you get your infopass appointment done?

That’s why I’m worried because I’m suppose to get my stamp this Thursday 😢 I hope they open by tomorrow..... I’m scared they will be closed all week and my appointment will be canceled......

I think you should be fine. Based on what I read it would have been Sep 4 only closed. Hope for the best.

I got my I-551 temp stamp this morning! it's valid for 1 year. The process was easy but it was very odd seeing almost nobody in the USCIS Atlanta building. It was literately only me in the waiting area and only one officer (which btw was very friendly  ) working behide the glass window. She asked me if I was here for a interview or infopass. Told her infopass and I needed the temp stamp. Then I was just asked for my passport and expired green card and 18 month extension letter, then I had to take a picture and also had to do right and left index fingers biometric verification. She then told me to go sit down and she will call me up when the stamp is ready, So I waited about 3 minutes and then that was it. She stamped my passport and she kept my expired green card told me I no longer needed it as the stamp will serve as my green card for 1 year. I thanked her and left. Very quick process and happy I got the stamp! but hopefully I will get a interview soon for N400. The only thing is I didn't see no interviews being performed. Maybe certain days they focus on infopass and other days they do interviews.

btw you must wear a mask and they do have hand sanitizer through out the building.

yeah I had the same experience. Except there were people in the queue when I left which were I think for the N400 interviews.
