Hi!

After waiting over 16 long years to get to Nicaragua, my husband finally has his visa interview set for mid May. With the current crisis in Nicaragua I am wondering if anyone has gotten notice of their interview being rescheduled or moved to a nearby consulate in another country. We are hearing nothing at this point. My concern is that we get there for his doctor appointment only to hear a day or two before that his interview will be cancelled. Looking for any information that could help us know what to possibly expect.

Thanks in advance!

I read in the embassy's website that the appointments scheduled for this past week were being rescheduled. It also said that they will resume regular hours on April 30th. I assume that if they have to reschedule it they will send you an email to let you know. Also if by any chance they have to reschedule it after you have done the medical exam  you'll still be fine since the medical exam is good for 6 months.
