I went through the medical exam in CDJ in 2016 and indeed the Dr did ask you to remove all your clothes including underwear and put on a medical robe. She left the room and gave me some minutes to undress. During the examination, she did ask me to lift the robe to see the genital area, but there was no touching. Eventually she did get to se every part of my body, but because she was female I did not feel it was too uncomfortable. She asked questions about my medical history.

 

I must share that the following year I went with my 14 year son and I was allowed in with him. The Dr allowed him to stay in his underwear and she asked me all the questions about his medical history, In that clinic, women and children under 15 are assigned to a specific area.

 

I guess in Mexico the medical exam is much more invasive.

If you live in Mexico City or State of Mexico, your only option is Medicos Especializados Internacionales. If you live anywhere else in the country, you have two more options:
